the corrie story

More pictures of Krabi, Thailand. The weather, food, snorkeling and sun all added up to an amazing week at the beach. Thailand reminded me a lot of Costa Rica, still untouched but definitely a tourist attraction. We spent days snorkeling with our “long tail” guide Mann, who took us to islands near our hotel and knew places to snorkel that were away from the tourists, which was a huge bonus as many places were super crowded. Christmas and Chinese New Year are the biggest tourist seasons in Thailand. It was an amazing way to relax but next time we will plan more of an adventure/sightseeing trip. We are thinking India. I am especially inspired by my NYC friend Taryn, who is currently traveling India and blogging her adventure at www.wanderista.com.

More pictures are on Flicker. Oh, BTW picture #3 was taken in town where we experienced these weird dead-skin-eating fish…….gross I know but it seemed like a good idea after a few drinks!
